Kara Luo

Hi! I am a PhD Candidate in the Organizational Behavior department at Stanford Graduate School of Business. My research interests are centered around cognition, social relations, and culture. My work employs various research methodologies, including surveys, experiments, and computational techniques such as modeling and natural language processing. I am currently a member of the Computational Culture Lab

Before coming to Stanford, I earned dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Mathematics from MIT, where I also completed my Master of Engineering. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a research assistant for Prof. Molly Crockett and Prof. Julia Minson.
